65TPH Oil Shale CFB Boiler
A model for the combustion of oil shale in the 65t/h circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boiler was developed, consisting of oil shale combustion, steam-water and ash circulation system, calculating the O2 and RO2 content of flue gas emission under three kinds of oil shale combustion in 65t/h CFB boiler.
The calculated results indicate that the simulation values are consistent with the experimental values. Effect of boiler load on the temperature of furnace, flue gas emission, inlet and outlet flue gas of economizer was discussed based on the model. Boiler load on the increase results in a increase in temperature of furnace, flue gas emission, inlet and outlet flue gas of economizer. The main performance parameters of 65t/h oil shale CFB boiler system were discussed and preliminarily predicted by the model.
Oil shale is a kind of potential and tremendous energy. Among the fossil fuels,its reserve in terms of the calorific value is only next to coal and holds the second place.The oil shale can be exploited by two main processes: extraction of the organic part-kerogen-by pyrolysis in retorts and obtaining an artificial crude oil-like liquid, direct combustion.
The combustion in a circulating fluidized bed boiler is the best choice for the industrial application of oil shale.Operation if CFB boiler at industrial levels has confirmed many advantages that include fuel flexibility, broad turn down ratio, high combustion efficiency technology is a new technology and it is the most economical and efficient combustion way for using oil shale resources.
The performance of 65t/h oil shale CFB boiler system was simulated by ZG and oil shale with the property of high volatile and ash content, low sulfur content, high calcium oxide content was used.Several reactors are used to perform calculation in the developed model if this paper which simulated and predicts the main performance of 65t/h oil shale CFB boiler system. Some guidance and reference to larger oil shale CFB boiler operation will be given by ZG in future.
